On the 18th December 2012, 28 students and two of their teachers from Oms i de Prat school in Manresa visited IBE. David Martin, gave them a brief introduction about the five research lines of our Institute and Josefa González took the opportunity to show them the videos of IBE´s outreach project La Ciència al Teu Món. We also prepared two hands-on activities so that students could get a taste of our research projects: Cristina Manjón and Carlos Vásquez explained them why we study metamorphosis in insects and Helena Parra and Giovanni dall'Olio showed them the implications and applications of phylogenomics studies. This visit was organized in collaboration with the PRBB.
