The Antoni Prevosti de Biología Evolutiva Award, which consists of a financial prize of 250€, is given to the best lecture presented by a young researcher.
La Jornada de Biología is organized by Societat Catalana de Biología once a year. This year the XVII edition was celebrated on the 26th June at the Institut d’Estudis Catalan

The aim of the Jornada de Biología Evolutiva is to promote the interaction between research groups in Catalonia that focus their investigation in Evolutionary Biology.
This Jornada gives special attention to young researchers, who can make oral presentations about their PhD or postdoctoral research.
