The IBE Scientific Retreat 2014  took place on the 24th-25th March in St Feliu de Guíxols . Along the two days, IBE researchers shared research goals and experiences. PhD students were encouraged to present  not only their projects, but also the main research lines of their groups in a 10 min format presentation to small rotating audience groups. This format allowed attendants to get a general overview of  the different research lines in a distended atmosphere  that promoted interchange of ideas and discussion. We also had three very interesting lectures by Tomàs Marqués (IBE), Luc Steels (IBE) and Marc Martí-Renom (CNAG)
