Trainning Course on: "Next Generation Sequencing for Population and Medical Genomics. Pre-Inscriptions Now Open!!

Next-generation sequencing technologies have revolutionized genomics research. In this course we aim to familiarize the students with the different NGS technologies and their applications to the study of human genetic variation and disease. The course will cover aspects from technology and informatics to experimental design and data analysis.

  • Focus of the Course: Next-generation sequencing technologies have revolutionized genomics research. In this course we aim to familiarize the students with the different NGS technologies and their applications to the study of human genetic variation and disease. The course will cover aspects from technology and informatics to experimental design and data analysis. This course is designed to be of interest for master and PhD students preferentially with a background on human genetics. The course will include theoretical and practical sessions.
  • Number of participants: 25
  • Tuition: The registration fee of 500 Euros covers course materials, coffee breaks and lunches. Lodging costs are not included in the registration fee. If needed we can help participants to find economic accommodation in Barcelona.
